 Details: 
 T7 - Features: There is a certain hardness and high strength, toughness, heat rigid but low hardenability poor quenching deformation. Uses: suitable for manufacturing by the vibration and shock, and hard-moderate cases, relatively high toughness, but does not require a high cutting speed of tools, such as chisels, punch, small pneumatic tools work head, wood saws and chisels, forging die, die, die rivets, lathe live thimble; cut with metal scissors, drills, sickles, stamp and hand with a hammer, mason's trowel, etc.; can also be manufactured to withstand the impact of resistance grinding, and toughness requirements without major mechanical parts such as rods, pins, springs and so on. 

 T8 - Characteristics: high hardness, a certain toughness and wear resistance, but the hot rigid low hardenability poor quenching overheat deformation, plasticity and lower strength. Application: Suitable for manufacturing higher hardness, wear resistance and toughness of certain tools, such as the shape of a simple die and punch, soft metal cutting tools, drilling tools; wood with the blade, drill, chisel, saw and fitter with assembly tools, rivet die, chisel, etc.; can also create pin, spring, stopper rings and other mechanical parts. 

 T8Mn - characteristics and uses of steel and T8 is similar but better hardenability, it is also a large section size used in the manufacture of tools, such as coal mining and other cutting tools and stone repair. 

 T9 - T8 features and similar, but slightly higher hardness, wear resistance. Application: Suitable for manufacturing require high hardness, a certain toughness, without severe vibration impact tools, such as dies, punches, with a cutting blade for wood cutting, etc. 

 T10 - features: T9 hardness and wear resistance than steel, high toughness is acceptable, but the heat difference between hard and hardenability, quenching deformation. Application: Suitable for manufacturing cutting speed is not high, not a sudden shock requires a certain tool wear resistance and toughness, such as turning tools, planer, drill, tap, saw blade, cutter, pull wire mode, small size trimming die and die; general gauge and not larger impact resistant mechanical parts, such as small shaft, pulley shaft. 

 T11 - features: a slightly higher hardness and wear resistance, heat and form a network of carbon material are small. 

 T12, T13 - characteristics: high hardness and wear resistance, but low, red hardness and hardenability are poor, quenching deformation. Uses: suitable for manufacturing from the impact, cutting speed is not high and require high hardness and wear resistance of tools, such as turning, rasp, reamers, taps, scrapers, knives and small tobacco cold trimming die, die, gauge; also applies to the manufacture from shock, requiring high hardness of the mechanical parts.
