M202 Austria Bluff quality Pre-hardened plastic mold steel, M202 and structural uniformity of the hardness of steel, cutting and polishing performance for EDM operations, can be used for flame hardened, chrome-plated, and oxidation. Uniform hardness and metallurgical structure, hardened by special heat treatment to 29-33HRC, cutting and polishing performance, the available flame hardening, hard chrome plating and nitriding process. 

 Factory state: annealing, the maximum hardness 235HB 

 Steel properties: high temperature wear resistance, high hot strength. Polishing and cutting easy, surface nitriding, spark machining 

 Uses: suitable for a variety of hot applications such as die casting, heat or metal alloy extrusion die, nozzle, fire extinguishers, hot scissors, plastic mold, the mold can be the first spiral trace. 

 Heat Treatment 
 Factory status: Pre-hard to 950-1050N/mm2 (29-33HRC) 

 Forging :1050-850 ℃ oven to cool. 

 Air-cooled annealing :800-900 ℃. 

 Quenching :850-900 ℃ cooling.
