An M15 steel features: 

 Wear-resistant tungsten high speed tool steel with high hardness, good wear resistance. Density 15.0g/cm3,, hardness 90.5HRA, bending strength ≥ 1350MPa. 

 Two chemical components: 

 C1.50 ~ 1.60, Si0.20 ~ 0.40, Mn0.10 ~ 0.40, Cr4.00 ~ 4.75, Mo3.00 ~ 3.50, V4.75 ~ 5.25, W6.25 ~ 6.75, Co4.75 ~ 5.25 

 Three thermal processing: 

 1 thermal processing: start temperature 1040-1150 ℃, end temperature 930 ℃ 

 2 Annealing: annealing temperature 870 - 900 ℃, annealing hardness 241 - 277HBS 

 3 quenching, tempering: quenching temperature 1190-1230 ℃, quenching medium is oil, salt bath or air cooling, tempering temperature 540 - 650 ℃, after tempering hardness 65 - 63HRC. 

 Four typical use example; 

 Mainly used for small occasions stress, such as nozzles, drawing dies, stretch film, spindle, etc.
