Executive Standard (JIS G4404) 

 Alloy tool steel referred to as co-workers of steel, carbon tool steel is by adding alloying elements on the basis of the formation of the steel.  KD5 hot die steel, tool steel casting is commonly used, have high strength and hardness, good resistance to thermal fatigue, and have better hardenability, but its poor toughness and ductility. Applicable to production of high temperature, high stress, the impact load from the punch, die, such as die casting, hot extrusion, forging mold, molding and other non-ferrous metals.

 Heat treatment: (Delivery Status: Brinell hardness HBW10/3000 (less than or equal 255 to 207)), quenching: 1075 - 1125, cooling agent: oil; 

 Use 
 Use: commonly used die-casting mold steel. Lower carbon content, a high toughness and good thermal conductivity; the same time, contains more carbon atoms of chromium, tungsten, vanadium, phase transition temperature rises, the steel has high temperature strength, hardness and good heat fatigue; hardenability. Suitable for high-temperature, high stress, but not shock load the die-casting copper, aluminum, magnesium alloy with mold, core, sprue bush, split nails, high should beat wax, hot shear knives, hot forging die , flat punch and die forging machine, inserts, etc.
